🐾 Bulldog Diaries – Episode 2: A Rainy Day With Winston ☔

This morning, the skies were moody, and so was Winston.
He’s not exactly a fan of rain — in fact, he treats water like it’s a personal betrayal. One glance at the cloudy window and I already knew: it was going to be one of those days.
🌧️ The Reluctant Rain Walker
At 8 AM, I gently put on Winston’s little raincoat — yellow, bright, and ridiculously cute. He gave me the look — the one that says,
"Seriously? I have dignity."
As soon as I opened the door, he stepped out, sniffed the wet air, turned around, and walked straight back in.
Bathroom break? Cancelled.
🎾 Indoor Games & Grumbles
Rainy days mean no park, no sidewalk strolls, and definitely no chasing squirrels.
To keep him active, I pulled out his favorite tennis ball. We played fetch down the hallway a few times, until he plopped on the couch, ball still in his mouth — like he was saying:
"Fun’s over. I’m emotionally damp."
📸 Winston the Philosopher
Rain turns Winston into a deep thinker. He’ll sit by the window, staring out as if contemplating the meaning of life.
I snapped a photo.
Caption:
“Winston, waiting for the rain to stop and for inner peace to arrive.”
The likes rolled in. One comment read:
"Is he writing poetry with his eyes?"
💤 Rainy Day Wrap-Up
After a small treat (cheddar-flavored biscuits, his weakness), Winston curled up on his bed. Outside, the rain kept falling. Inside, the only sound was his peaceful snoring.
Life slows down in the rain — and maybe that’s okay.
